Leading the architectural design process for new school campuses, the full-time Architectural Designer will manage site feasibility, permitting, and product specification while working remotely. Key responsibilities Conduct site feasibility studies, including code analysis and zoning reviews, to evaluate potential new locations Manage the permitting process across jurisdictions and coordinate with civil engineers and local architects Research and specify furniture, equipment, and branded materials for each campus, creating a vendor list and product catalog Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in architectural project management or interior design with ownership from design through construction Experience in developing design standards for multi-location rollouts Background in educational, retail, or hospitality environments where physical space is crucial Deep understanding of building codes, ADA, fire life safety, zoning, and permitting across multiple jurisdictions Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software, along with project management tools
