We seek an Architectural Designer / Drafter to join our Civic & Community sector in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities Undertake a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project Perform design layouts and features, researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards and implement any changes as directed Assist project teams and other staff members as required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of post‑graduate / professional experience or A/E/C internship required Bachelor or Master of Architecture (required) Recent experience working on architectural projects within the United States Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. building codes, permitting processes, and construction practices Demonstrated skills in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp modeling, Adobe Photoshop, and preparation of presentation materials Excellent problem‑solving, independent thinking, good listening skills, strong follow‑through, and excellent verbal and graphic communication Strong organizational and collaborative skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment Commitment to professional growth as designer, architect, or planner; obtaining licensure preferred Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without restrictions; visa sponsorship is not offered What You'll Earn Salary range: $71,000 – $75,000, based on qualifications and experience Competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; pre‑tax Flexible Spending Plans for medical, childcare, and commuter expenses; Employee Stock Ownership Plan; and 401(k) Equal Opportunity Employer As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to welcoming and supporting a diverse community of professionals.
