HYBRID - 3 -DAYS A WEEK AT HOME!

I'm working on a great Controller opportunity with a growing construction company that is approaching $80M in revenue with a young leadership team and a strong company culture.

This is a newly important role where you will have significant visibility with leadership and the opportunity to build processes, improve systems, and take ownership of the accounting function.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 5–10+ years of accounting experience
• Construction industry experience is required
• Strong WIP and job costing experience
• Understanding of construction accounting and project profitability
• Experience with construction accounting software is a major plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Current Controller or strong Assistant Controller ready to take the next step
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Manage WIP, job costing, revenue recognition, and project profitability
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Oversee xhyhwjd A/R, A/P, payroll, and reconciliations
• Establish and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents on monthly cost reviews
• Manage subcontractor costs and vendor payments
• Support budgeting, forecasting, insurance, banking, and CPA relationships
• Lead process improvements and accounting system implementation
