Field Service Technician – Office TechnologyDEX Imaging is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with direct industry experience servicing copiers, printers, multifunction devices, and related office technology equipment. For this position, we are specifically seeking candidates who already have hands-on experience within the copier, printer, or office technology industry. Candidates should be able to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair office technology equipment in a customer-facing field environment. Experience servicing Konica Minolta, HP, Sharp, Canon, Ricoh, Toshiba, Xerox, Kyocera, or similar office technology equipment is strongly preferred.What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair copiers, printers, multifunction devices, and related office technology equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and complete assigned service callsInstall, configure, test, and support equipment at customer locationsIdentify mechanical, electrical, connectivity, and print-quality issuesProvide professional customer service and technical support during onsite visitsMaintain accurate service records, parts usage, and repair documentationCommunicate repair status and equipment recommendations clearlyManage assigned territory and service schedule efficientlyWork independently while partnering with service leadership and support teamsMaintain current knowledge of manufacturer equipment, service procedures, firmware, and technologyWhat We're Looking ForPrevious professional experience servicing copiers, printers, multifunction devices, or related office technology equipment is requiredStrong mechanical and technical troubleshooting abilityExperience diagnosing and repairing equipment in a field service environmentFamiliarity with one or more major office technology manufacturersStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to independently manage service calls and assigned territoryBasic computer and networking knowledge related to connected office equipmentAbility to read technical documentation, service manuals, and diagnostic informationValid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred Industry ExperienceExperience servicing equipment from manufacturers such as:Konica MinoltaCanonSharpHPRicohToshibaXeroxKyoceraOther commercial copiers, printers, or multifunction device manufacturersManufacturer certifications, factory training, or previous employment with an office technology dealer, copier dealership, managed print provider, or equipment manufacturer are highly valued.Industry Experience RequirementThis opening is intended for technicians who already have experience within the copier, printer, managed print, or office technology service industry.
