Datalink EngineerJob#: 3046543Job Description:Datalink EngineerLocation: Patuxent River, MD (Onsite)Clearance: Must Have an Active Secret ClearanceRole OverviewAs a Datalink Engineer, you will use your engineering skills to manage the integration and compatibility of datalink systems. You will work with original equipment manufacturers to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. This role involves transforming mission systems requirements to improve datalink performance on a variety of platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with existing teams to understand current challenges and develop upgrades.Collaborate with engineers to modify designs and algorithms to better system performance.Assist in augmenting designs and improving system integrations to enhance capabilities.Manage the integration and compatibility of datalink systems.Analyze datalink designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration.Required QualificationsExperience in datalink systems.Knowledge of systems integration challenges.Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations.A bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field.Preferred QualificationsExperience with modern Navy datalink systems.Experience with the SETR process.Experience with Datalink compliance testing, including NCTSI.Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting.A master's degree in a scientific field.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
