Job Title: Hotel Night AuditorJob SummaryThe Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing excellent guest service. This role combines customer service duties with accounting and auditing responsibilities to maintain smooth overnight hotel operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform night audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactionsBalance room revenue, cash, credit card payments, and other hotel accountsPrepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reportsCheck guests in and out during overnight hoursRespond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionallyMonitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during the night shiftHandle reservations, cancellations, and room assignmentsCommunicate important issues to management and morning staffMaintain front desk cleanliness and organizationQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent (hospitality-related education preferred)Previous front desk or accounting experience is an advantageBasic knowledge of accounting and auditing proceduresStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and handle overnight shiftsFamiliarity with hotel management systems (PMS) is a plusWorking ConditionsOvernight shifts, including weekends and holidaysQuiet but responsible work environmentRequires prolonged standing and occasional walkingKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy of nightly financial reportsGuest satisfaction during night hoursTimely completion of audit tasksCompliance with hotel policies and procedures
